WLPS 2006: Work/Life-Practice-Survey

Our research project WLPS analyses the implementation status of Work/Life programmes and initiatives in Europe from a Diversity perspective. Main Focus Areas comprise developmental perspectives and drivers, challenges and success factors of Work/Life activities.

New strategies of managing the complexities of Work/Life challenges

Work-life practices aim at creating flexible work practices, a supportive work environment and enabling employees to focus on work tasks to meet the needs of both business and employees.

The survey clusters current Work/Life issues and success factors in the following four areas:

  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Employee support programmes
  • Health management and counselling
  • Corporate / organisational culture

WLPS is analysing current practices, drivers and success stories of Work/Life initiatives and shows how to overcome resistance.
